Getting a good start on the week...

A very fun albeit very unproductive weekend led to me getting a zero head start on this week's mondo workload: 6 assignments and 3 midterms, not to mention getting ready for next weekend's ski trip! The action packed weekend unfolded as follows:

Friday a ton of us (me, Danielle, Nick, Kathryn, Bob, Mike F, Kung, Ralph, Mike K + GF, Alex + GF) went to the Rugby club before going to a Vancouver Giants game. We were all so wiped from the week some of us (bob, mike) even fell asleep at the game!

Saturday I spent with Matt playing with fancy gear at MEC. Saturday night Scott and I went out to the Korn concert at GM place. Somehow we managed to get second row center tickets too! I haven't listened to Korn since high school but it was almost like a high school reunion seeing old friends there.

Slept in Sunday, tried to do work all day to no fruition, went out for sushi with Kim, Greta, Fokko, Juli and her BF. So no work done!

It's going to be a "fun" week...

On another note since I got this email from a few people I'll post it here! Looks like loads of fun, too bad I have a MIDTERM!!:@ at the same time:

Remember in the days of your youth when you would gather a bunch of friends together, divide into two sides and run around the playground trying to catch each other and each other's flags?

Well, now you can do it with a bunch more (new) friends, and about a 100X bigger playground.

You are cordially invited to CAMPUS WIDE CAPTURE THE FLAG. From Agronomy to the Highway, from East Mall to West Mall, this promises to be spectacular. Some of you may remember a similar endeavour a couple of summers ago. Well, we're aiming to make this even bigger, with about 4 times the people.

So mark your calendars, and show up at the corner of Main Mall and Univ. Blvd at 4pm on March 10th, 2006.

All you need to do is SHOW UP, everything else will be taken care of. Bring your friends, bring your classmates, bring your enemies.

If this one goes off without a hitch, be on the lookout for a game in Kits in the near future.

PS: playing in the rain is no fun. this shit is weather permitting. you can't run with an umbrella, and despite what your mom says, you look totally dorky in your gortex.
